A Romanov Kokoshnik (I believe that's Russian for a tiara that can also be a necklace) made by the court jeweler Bolin in 1841. It was found in the hidden apartment walls of the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna in the Anichkov Palace. It was sold in London in March 1927 at a Christie's auction.  Rumored to have been destroyed by Imelda Marcos...

Hence, the architecture of this Old Athens neighbourhood transports you to the islands. And it's very quiet though yards away from the tourist packed Plaka
