Cut fabric in an anti-clockwise direction for more control 2. Stay-stitch necklines before sewing so they don’t stretch 3. Leave 1cm of thread at the dart apex for extra strength 4. Face pins downwards when draping for safety and stability 5. Choose the darker thread when tossing up. It will be less visible in the shadow of seams 6. Cut fabric and interfacing separately. Then fuse together to save time and fabric 7. Use stitch length 3. It is small enough to give good seam strength and big enough to be unpicked easily 8. I use a refurbished Epson ultra short projector (model- Brightlink 485Wi- purchased from eBay) and I hook it up to my laptop using a USB-C cable. There’s also special software I downloaded so that my projector connects to my laptop. I chose an ultra short projector because my set up lends itself to one. I have a shelf right beside my cutting table where it can sit and it projects a very large area. The projection space is actually larger than my actual cutting table. I bought my projector used from eBay and it cost about $175 Canadian. I use @patternprojector primarily to project my PDF patterns, but I have also manually calibrated the p
