WIP . More layers added to build up the forest floor. I’ve felted thick mats of wool, then cut shapes of moss and felted them in to give the depth. Lots more to do ! I often get told that my pictures are so lifelike that they think it’s a photo. That is the response that I hope for. In doing what I do, I hope to convince the observer that using wool instead of paint is a genuine art form and a wonderful medium to use, and not just a craft.

You can purchase roving and needlefelting needles on ebay. More and more yarn stores are selling these supplies. Be very careful with your fingers and the needles as they are barbed. Not recommended for children.
