I'm trying to capture a sense of the mysterious, threatening and unpredictable nature of wolves in general, and this wolf in particular. I'm not sure which photo orientation is more effective in achieving this, the portrait view in this shot or the landscape view in the following shot, or which crop is better - the wider shot here or the close-up in the next photo. Some more concepts after a visit to one of Sweden's nature parks, I´m putting together concepts for possible animals one could encounter in my hobby game project which takes place in fictional 16-17th century Scandinavia.
