While my maps still retain an aged appearance, colors have been corrected to overcome fading and -- where possible -- any stains, spotting, fold lines, crease marks, handwriting or catalog stamps that were not part of the original map have been removed to restore the original appearance. In the mid-20th century pictorial maps in cartoonish styles were a popular way of promoting travel and tourism. They were used to tell anecdotes about a region's history, culture and landscape in a way attractive to old and young.

All maps contain print on the reverse side as they are extracted from books. Size of map 5.75"H x 4.25"W. Original vintage pictorial map from the 1940s.
