Here are a few sheets outlining the process and results for the homework this week. I put these together so you could keep track of how to put together compound curved forms and how to construct and evolve the angular/positional/flat plane forms with the rounded/organic/compound/"bubbly" volumes. Geometric forms are those which correspond to named regular shapes, such as squares, rectangles and circles. I like the fact that not all naturally occurring objects are organic and it is the precision and regularity of forms within the natural world which I find particularly inspiring. Below are just a few of many examples.
