Tee for Two, Hanna & Barbera (MGM), 1945 Wikipedia sez this is the last 'wartime' Tom & Jerry cartoon. Something I noticed was one of the tunes used on the soundtrack is "Spreadin' Rhythm Around," not in any apparent support of or reference to the action on the screen. The Big Steal, Don Siegel, 1949 I enjoyed this, even though it's not well-known (and, like "Illegal," the kibitzers say it's "not a film noir."). Lots of great location shots in Mexico, plus Mitchum & Greer!
