Kings Island 1975 Map - Opened in 1972 by Taft Broadcasting after a history of flood damage forced the end of the original Coney Island in Cincinnati. Several Coney flat rides were moved to KI’s Coney Mall, and a few such as the Scrambler and Monster are still thrilling guests as of 2017. Today, Kings Island is owned by theme park giant Cedar Fair, who has made tremendous improvements to undo the damage to the park's ride lineup and charm caused by the Paramount era of the 90's and 00's.
