Sunrise over train tracks - every town, large or small, had railroad tracks and the train came to town several times a week or every day. The trains hauled people as well as the products from the farm.
This reminds me of when I was a little girl, and I'd stay a week at my grandparents' house. There was a train track across the road, and my Paw Paw made it a great game for us to count the cars as they'd rumble by. He'd always try to miscount, just so I could correct him and "win". I miss him.
