Canyonlands National Park Abbey’s Arch. Edward Abbey, so the story goes, noted this arch in the late 1970s and told the rangers about it. It is so tucked away in an intricacy of coves and pinnacles the rangers had not been previously aware of it, so they unofficially named it Abbey’s Arch. (GC)
