To avoid bubbling, place a sheet of paper on top and a ceramic tile over it, then bake. Once cool, peel them off the tile and cut the clay into small, random pieces. Roll out a fresh sheet of raw clay in a contrasting color, cut any shape and start arranging your mosaic - random or patterned, it’s up to you! Press the pieces into the raw clay to help them stick.
