Chinese architect Liu Jiakun of Jiakun Architects has been selected as the 2025 Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate. Described as an architect who “advocates a strategy rather than a style, never relying on repetitive methods, but rather evaluating each project differently based on its specific characteristics and needs”, Jiakun is the 54th honoree of the Pritzker Architecture Prize and the third Chinese architect to receive the recognition.
